Restoration Projects

The Council works together with landowners, agencies and community collaborators to restore priority salmon and steelhead habitat throughout the Sandy River basin and its tributaries. Our projects reach from spawning headwaters to the Sandy Delta, on both public and private land.

Restoration projects focus in priority areas identified as high potential by Sandy River Basin Partners restoration assessments, modeling, and plans: the Salmon River, Still Creek, and the mainstem Sandy from the Zigzag River to the Sandy Delta.  For more information on our strategic approach to habitat restoration, read about our basin-wide collaboration.

Visit our Current Projects page to learn more about what’s happening in the Sandy River basin now, or see what we’ve accomplished in Past Projects.
