Jesse brings enthusiasm to his work, and is inspired to connect the watershed community to Beaver Creek and the lower Sandy River, where he spent much of his time growing up. He is interested in building a career in watershed restoration and held an internship with the Department of Environmental Quality before joining SRBWC. His goal here is to engage communities in the lower Sandy River watershed through the development of creative outreach strategies and inform local populations about ongoing river restoration activities.

The Sandy River Basin Watershed Council is hosting this 11-month AmeriCorps position in partnership with Multnomah County and the Confluence Environmental Center.
