Your vote YES on measures 26-203 and 26-204 will help support the Sandy watershed.
26-203 Nature for All
Previous Metro capital bonds have supported work we do out here in the Sandy Watershed. Like helping Mt. Hood Community College become the first Salmon Safe certified community college in the Nation. In the picture above you can see one of many new stormwater facilities at MHCC. These planters, rain gardens, and bioswales bring nature into campus, food for pollinators, and naturally filter 4 million gallons of stormwater every year.
The improvements don’t stop here. We plan to continue helping MHCC in being a leader in sustainable stormwater management with future important projects that could be supported by another Metro capital bond.

The Bull Run watershed is managed by the City of Portland, and it is also within the Sandy River Basin. Measure 26-204 will help to protect the Bull Run watershed, drinking water for many, and vital habitat for our local wildlife.
