Timberline to Troutdale Cleanups 2019

T2T poster 2019-PRINT2_Page_1 small cropped for web

Make a difference in the Sandy River and have a blast doing it!

Our annual Timberline to Troutdale Cleanup events are the most fun way to give back to the Sandy, and they’re free!

Lower Sandy Floating Cleanup 9/14

The first event is a float down the lower Sandy River. We’ll enjoy a relaxing float with stops to get out and pick up trash along the shore line. Bring your own boat and personal flotation device (PFD) or jump in one of our rafts then, all your gear is provided, as well as doughnuts, snacks, coffee, and tea! Sign up here.

Salmon Headwaters Cleanup 9/21

The second event this year is an All Mountain Cleanup! Focus areas within the Sandy watershed include Timberline Lodge and Ski Area, Summit Ski Area, and Mt. Hood SkiBowl. Hike with stunning views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding area while you fill your trash bags. Doughnuts, snacks, coffee and tea provided. With an after party at Ratskeller in Government Camp Sign up here.

2018 Timberline Cleanup success!

During these two events last year we:

  • picked up over 2,500 pounds of trash
  • had 125 volunteer participants
  • floated 6 rafts
  • and found a $20 dollar bill!

Come help us beat these numbers and enjoy the Sandy with us!
