Timberline to Troutdale Cleanups 2018

Timberline to Troutdale Clean Up Events

Make a difference in the Sandy River and have a blast doing it!

Our annual Timberline to Troutdale Cleanup events are the most fun way to give back to the Sandy, and they’re free!

Salmon Headwaters Cleanup 9/15

The first event is at Timberline Lodge and Ski Area. Hike with stunning views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding area while you fill your trash bag. Doughnuts, snacks, beer, and other drinks provided. Sign up here.

Lower Sandy Floating Cleanup 9/22

The second event is a float down the lower Sandy River. We’ll enjoy a relaxing float with stops to get out and pick up trash along the shore line. Bring your own boat or jump in one of our rafts. Sign up here.

2017 Floating Clean Up
2017 Floating Cleanup

During these two events last year we:

  • picked up 3,700 pounds of trash
  • had 143 volunteer participants
  • floated 6 rafts
  • and found 1, 15 year old, full gallon of milk!

Come help us beat these numbers and enjoy the Sandy with us!
